Activities
Umbria is a haven for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. Whether you're indulging in the local cuisine, hiking through scenic landscapes, or immersing yourself in the rich history, Umbria offers a perfect blend of cultural and outdoor experiences.
Yes there are 50 Michelin starred restaurants in the Tuscany-Umbria region, but when you want to stay home and relax, private chef Jonathan Barroso and his team not only cook up amazing food, they even clean up after! The best part is he also offers cooking classes so you can cook what you eat! Last time he cooked beef neck in saffron and it was chef’s kiss!

Podernuovo Winery
This lovely winery 20 minutes away is owned by a scion of Italy’s famed Bulgari Family. Email them for a tour followed by the best wine pairing you will ever have! The chocolate truffle paired with their red is hair raisingly good, from someone who does not drink and has no hair.
Federico Badia Shoes
Federico Badia sculpts each pair of shoes by hand, producing a limited number of shoes per year but each one is of the highest quality. Come visit his shop in Orvieto, half an hour away, for the best shoes and leather goods.
Fiera Antiquaria di Arezzo
This is the oldest and largest Antique Fair in Italy, held every first Sunday of the month, so if you cannot find it here it does not exist in this country.

Lake Bolsena
If you get tired of all the greenery, Lake Bolsena is only an hour away and offers a myriad of water activities from swimming and kayaking to sailing and kite surfing.
Truffle Hunting
The chef at Seven Cafe is also a master at truffle hunting. Instead of pigs they are now using dogs. Uncover these food treasures and he will cook it for your dinner.
Pizza Party at the House
Paris Manuzzi is a carpenter by day but an amazing pizzaiolo in his free time. His wife Sabrina manages an antique store in Cetona but also rolls out the best fresh pizza dough. They can come by the house with their cute pizza truck and oven to make the most delicious pizzas in traditional and unusual flavor combos. My sister Joliot loved their artichoke and the kids loved the Nutella. In fact our leftover Nutella pizza mysteriously disappeared before lunch the next day.
